Idols are shapes made so that it is easy to recognize, know, understand and remember the abstract. A statue shows the invisible, explains the unknown, makes sense of the unreachable. Idols are installed with different goals to make it easy to remember, to be famous, to be free, to bring happiness and peace. Idols of gods, goddesses, yugapurush, great men are made.

Statues of ancestors, heroes, martyrs or special people are made. According to mantras, tantras or emotional chants, idols transfer power, energy and blessings. Shalik reminds of Agraj, keeps the form alive. The image of the statue helps to explain the divine or invisible gods and goddesses. The energy of the idol gives inspiration, support and guidance to those who perform rituals and meditation.

Shivalinga is the first statue in the world that represents God, explains the universe, and tells about the origin and destruction. The word for God is 'Om', the first idol (image) that shows God is 'Shivalinga'. There is a discussion in the Vedas that the stones give good sound, the stones are speaking, and the stones receive the blessing of the Yajna before the deity. Because of these characteristics, strength and working qualities, Dhudda got the first good fortune to become an idol. As the milk offered here is used as medicine to remove sorrow and bad thoughts, Shiv lids, idols and sculptures were made from stone.

According to gender, gender and self-righteousness:

Vishwakarma Dadau Teshan Niyogad Brahman: Prabho: .. – Linga Purana, (Part 74.1)

That is, "according to the order of Brahmaji, Vishwakarma built the Shivlid within his jurisdiction." Vishwakarma is an ancient engineer. He built magnificent and huge palaces, assembly halls and palaces of various gods and kings. Being the father of technology, his image or statue is worshiped in industries, factories etc.

They started making idols that were bright, strong and evoking emotions. First of all, Brea worshiped the Shivalinga, which was called Brahmashivalinga. The first idol worshiper is Brahma and the idol worshiped is Shivalidda. After this, gods and goddesses such as Mahadev, Vishnu, Durga etc started worshiping Shivlinga, sages and siddhas started performing rituals by making their idols. Like gods and goddesses, sages, siddhas and sadhaks worshiped Shiva lidds of many shapes made of different materials.

The name of the historical and ancient idol built after Shivalinga is Ardhanarishwar. Ardhanarishwar is also the first idol made in human form. Before this, worship was done in naturally obtained substances. Shivlinga was built to show that the beginning of creation was a combination of nature and man. Jalhari refers to nature, Linga refers to men. To explain it simply, the statue of Ardhanarishwar was made in human shape.

The way to make idols of goddesses was opened by putting the faces of men and women on Ardhanarishwar idols. In order to describe the creation, to explain the evolution of life, to explain the combination of nature and man, half of the statue of Ardhanarishwar was made in the form of a woman and a man. Ardhanareshwar started to be called Ardhanareshwar because the pronunciation got worse. The Ardhanarishwar statue silently indicates the mystery of the universe, the interrelationship between idols and human beings. Those who want power, wealth, culture and children worship Ardhanarishwar through Tantric method.

Umamaheshwar is considered by some as Ardhanarishwar. Ardhanarishwar has a male and female figure. In Ardhanarishwar's idol, it is not possible to identify who is the form of Mahadev and Parvati, Vishnu and Lakshmi, Indra and Shachi etc. Ardhanarishwar's idol helps to lecture Shivalidda, to explain the secret of creation and creator, to know the world and Jagadishwar. In Ardhanarishwar's idol, men should not wear a snake around their neck, a Nandi near them, or a tiger skin around their waist. After Ardhanarishwar, the idol of Umamaheshwar was made.

In the statue of Umamaheswara, Mahadev is seen sitting and taking Parvati in his arms and placing his hands on her shoulders, breasts or hips. An idol of Umamaheshwar was made to represent tantra and yoga, Mahadev and Parvati, rhythm and liberation. People earn wealth, children, respect, make relatives and families, one day they leave like a drama and disappear. It takes a long time for the creation of God to be completed, but the creation of animals is destroyed in about a hundred years.
